Description
Macduff House, located on High Street in Auchtermuchty, dates back to 1597 and features a 17th century wing, forming an L-plan. The building underwent partial remodelling in the 18th century, along with some minor later additions and alterations. It is two storeys high with an attic, constructed from whin rubble. The original block has a blocked-up transe at the east end, crowstepped gables, and large chimneys with moulded copes, all covered with a slate roof.
