Description

1867-9, Sir R. Rowand Anderson, architect; hall added by

David Henry 1894. Early English, bull-faced rubble and slate;

nave and aisles with clerestory and chancel; partly

demolished tower. Fine interior with good sculptured detail,

nave piers alternatively circular and octagonal, red

sandstone; arcading and Portsmouth arch in chancel; Mosaic

altar-piece designed by RTN Spier of Culdees, executed by

Powell of London.
