Description
This is a 15th-century barn located at Balmerino Farm Steading, near Balmerino Abbey. The barn is two stories tall and constructed from rubble. It features an arched doorpiece made from two stones. Most of the openings have been modernized. The original west gable has a steep pitch and still retains doocot boxes on its inner face. The barn has been reroofed at a lower level and is covered with pantiles.
