Description

The tollhouse at Gateside is a late 18th century building. It is a single-storey structure with an attic and basement, constructed from red rubble with an ashlar gable front. The building features two windows and a later wooden porch at the center. There is one window in the gable, with a chimney positioned above it. The roof is covered with pantiles.
