Description
Wellfield House is an 18th-century building that was rebuilt after a fire in the 1920s. The main block was originally three storeys but has been reduced to two. It features a large piend roof and a south-facing front with three windows. The entrance has a porch supported by R-Doric columns, which have low necking, and the entablature does not have a cornice. There are two-storey wings that project forward, each with one window on the front, and they have wallhead chimneys and piend roofs. The exterior is harled and ochre-washed with margins, and the first-floor windows on the south side have metal balconies.
