Description
White House in Williamsburgh, Elie, is likely a cottage from the late 18th century that was raised in the early 19th century. It is a two-storey building rendered and lined out to resemble ashlar, featuring painted margins. The front has three windows and an off-centre door. The roof is slated, with skews and harled end stacks. To the east, there is a single-storey range that includes a door and a window, topped with a pantiled roof. The rear has been altered and features a four-light, two-storey curved bay on the right and a tall stair window on the first floor to the left.
