Description

The Town Hall and Library on South Street in St Andrews was built in 1858 by architect J Anderson Hamilton and extended in 1885. The building features a baronial style with snecked rubble and a diagonally placed corbelled angle turret. It has a slated roof and includes a panel from 1565 taken from the Old Tolbooth located in the lobby. The building was altered in 1960.
