Description

This building, located at 78 South Street in St Andrews, is an early 19th-century bank. It is three stories tall and constructed of painted ashlar with a slate roof, showcasing a classic architectural style. The treatment of the ground floor varies; the eastern part features channelled walls with segmental-headed windows and a rounded corner, while the western part has antae at the doorpiece and a carved armorial stone at the back. The ground floor accommodates shops and a bank, which was remodelled in 1970.
