Description
3 Coxstool in West Wemyss is a rebuilt 19th-century, two-storey, four-bay house featuring a forestair. The exterior is harled with stone margins.
On the north elevation, the ground floor has a timber door located to the left of the centre, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays. The outer right bay contains a smaller window to the left and another window to the right. The first floor mirrors the ground floor layout, with the forestair leading to the door in the left of centre bay.
The east elevation is gabled and has two windows on each floor, with Nos 5 and 6 Coxstool situated to the outer left. The windows are timber sash and case with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with modern pantiles, and there are harled stacks with cans, ashlar-coped skews, and decorative cast-iron downpipes with rainwater hoppers.
The property is enclosed by a low, coped rubble boundary wall.
