Description
58 South Street in St Andrews is a building from the 16th century that underwent alterations in the 18th century and again around 1850. It is three stories tall and features four windows, with later additions made to the original window openings. The structure is built of rubble and slate, with painted margins and crowstepped gables. The entrance is highlighted by a Roman Doric pilastered doorpiece. The mutual lang rig wall with the adjacent building at number 56 has been removed, resulting in a shortened rig at the southern end.
