Description
The Covenanter Hotel, located on High Street in Falkland, is a two-storey building dating from the 17th century. It features three windows and is constructed of snecked rubble with painted margins and raised quoins. The entrance is highlighted by a Roman Doric columned doorpiece with a swagged frieze, and the building has scroll-skews and a slated roof. There is a small eastern extension that is a two-storey baronial style, which includes a crow-stepped gable and a turret, dating from around 1870.
