Description

The Rustic Bridge 2, located over the Bluther Burn in Valleyfield Wood, was built to support a carriage drive as part of Repton's landscape design from around 1800 to 1804. This picturesque masonry footbridge features a single arch that spans the Bluther Burn, constructed with cyclopean "rustic" masonry and voussoirs made of volcanic rock.
