Description

Torrie House is a large Tudor-Gothic mansion dating from the late 18th century. It features a symmetrical three-storey south front with two-storey wings on either side. The property includes an arcaded stable court with corner towers that have battlements. Currently, the house is deserted and in a semi-derelict condition. There were alterations made to the building in 1813 and 1816. The architect associated with the design is J Sands.
