Description

May Cottage, located at 5 Main Street, Kilconquhar, was rebuilt around 1906 using skewputs (angled timbers) from a prior house. The cottage is a single-storey building with an attic, and is finished with modern harl (roughcast) plastering. It features a bay window and two canted dormers projecting from the slate roof. The building is designated as having group value, meaning its significance lies in the contribution it makes to the character of the surrounding area rather than its own intrinsic qualities.
