Description

Kirkside is an 18th-century building, renovated and originally comprising a single-storey, four-window and one-door harled structure with margins, now covered with pantiles. Chimneys have been removed. The central cottage presents a two-window and one-door facade, stuccoed with margins, while the east cottage has a door leading directly to the road and a monopitch outhouse set at a right angle. The building has been re-categorised as Grade C(S) due to the group interest it holds. This listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the building, as appropriate. The statutory address is Kirkside and adjoining deserted cottages, located at The Tannery, off Main Street, Kilconquhar.
