Description

This bridge, designed by William Burn in 1828, features a wide, single, depressed, three-centred arch with channelled voussoirs. An impost band connects both sides of the bridge. The outer faces are made of stugged coursers, and there is a moulded, arcaded balustrade with ashlar coping. The bridge is also adorned with octagonal terminal piers and ball finials.
