Description

The terraces at Charleton House were constructed from around 1905 onwards. The balustraded terrace closest to the house was designed by Lorimer. Further south, the terraces are built of brick and incorporate three pairs of fine wrought iron gates of Italian workmanship, featuring a vine pattern. One of these gates is damaged. The terraces, steps and gates lie south of the main house.
