6-7 Crown Square, Kingskettle

This is a mid-18th century building of two storeys and three bays, situated on the west side of Crown Square. The west-facing elevation is finished with bull-faced render. A doorway is located on the left side, flanked by single windows. Above, there are three widely spaced windows on the first floor, most of which have modern glazing, although one retains a sixteen-pane sash window. A coped wall-head stack is positioned off-centre. The roof is slate-covered, with skewed north gable and apex stacks. The east-facing elevation is harled with painted margins, featuring a central doorway sheltered by a gabled porch, and also has modern glazing. The building is part of a group of buildings with group value alongside the Crown Hotel and 8 Crown Square.
