Hall, Largo Parish Church, 26-28 Church Place, Upper Largo

This is an early 18th-century hall, located at 26-28 Church Place, Upper Largo, with alterations made subsequently. The building is two storeys high and has a three-bay arrangement. The exterior is largely harled, with ashlar dressings highlighting certain features. The front entrance was originally formed by two doors in the left-hand ground floor bay, but one of these has been replaced with a window. A forestair leads to a first-floor door. Two additional windows were added to the first floor at a later date. The south front has altered ground floor window placement and features three first-floor windows set within weathered stone architraves. The roof is pantiled, with straight skews featuring simple moulded skewputts and a crowstepped skew to the south-east corner. The building has end stacks, the left-hand one rendered and the right-hand one brick. The roof skews are straight and have skewputts, and they are shared with the adjoining building. The building forms a B Group with Largo Parish Church.
