Description
The Carron Railway Bridge, built around 1860 for the Carron Company, is a two-span segmental arched masonry bridge. It features channelled bullnosed ashlar voussoirs with dressed margins, and the spandrels and wing walls are made of snecked rubble. The spandrels are strengthened with old rails arranged radially. The road span to the north has been removed.
