Description

Mid-later 18th century, possibly incorporating earlier work, substantially remodelled and raised early 19th century. Two

storeys, 3 bays to S (4 windows to N elevation). Rubble with

ashlar window and angle margins; harled to S, bullnosed

render to N. Entrance on E gable (19th century) cavetto

reveals blocked side lights, 6-flush-panel door. W gable 2

blocked windows, evidence of 18th century house.

12-pane sash and case windows to N. Some altered glazing to

S, 12-pane in 1st floor, one circa 1950 dormer. Ashlar,

corniced end stacks, eaves cornice to N, slate roof.

Marble chimneypiece (19th century) 1st floor drawing room,

Some plaster cornice details, raised and fielded window

shutters, winding cantilever stair from ground to attic.
