Description

The Binns Tower, located on Binns Hill, was built in 1826. It is a circular structure constructed of rubble and features a crenellated parapet. The tower was built by Sir James Dalyell, 5th Baronet, as a result of a wager. Information about the tower's construction can be found in ‘The Binns Papers’ from 1938.
