Walled Garden, Kinneil House, Kinneil

The Walled Garden at Kinneil House dates from the late 16th to 17th century and features a large square plan measuring approximately 100 meters by 100 meters. It is enclosed by high rubble walls topped with steeply pitched stone coping. The main entrance is located on the east side, with two additional openings on the south side. The left opening has later, slightly advanced rubble piers, while the right is a pedestrian entrance with chamfered edges and long and short dressings, which is now blocked.

In the northwest corner, the walls display some worked stonework, including larger, roughly squared blocks, some of which have chamfered edges, suggesting they were once part of lintels or jambs for openings. Additionally, there is a short section of wall that projects north from the corner, leading to a square-plan pier.
