Description

James Watt's Cottage in Bo'ness is a single-storey, three-bay symmetrical cottage built in 1768. It features a large iron cylinder from a Newcomen engine located to the southwest. The cottage and the cylinder are situated southwest of Kinneil House, next to the Gil Burn. The cottage is constructed from rubble and is currently roofless, with no windows or doors as of 2017.
