Description

The mausoleum at Callendar House in Callendar Park, Falkirk, was designed by Archibald Elliot in 1816. It features a circular, rusticated podium with a simple rectangular entrance projection. Above this entrance, there is a cella and a peristyle supported by 12 Greek Doric columns. The structure also includes a couplet from Lucian.
