Description
The sundials at Callendar House in Callendar Park, Falkirk, date from around 1700 and feature the arms and initials of the Earl of Linlithgow, who succeeded in 1695. The structure has a square shaft and an octagonal dialhead, both with hollow dials, and stands 4 feet 1 inch high. A later copper dial by Andrew Adie, which was originally on top, has since been removed.
