Description
Woodend Farm in Hallglen dates from around 1850 and features a quadrangular symmetrical south front. The farmhouse is a single-storey structure with an attic, and it has two-storey gables on the central section, which is flanked by triple shafted chimneys. There is a two-storey north entrance tower with a semi-elliptical arch, and the court includes semi-elliptical arches for the cartshed. The building is constructed of rubble with dressed stone details, and it has slated eaves that are cut back.
