Description
Eastwoodhill, located at 238 Fenwick Road in Giffnock, is a Renaissance-style building dating from around 1850 to 1860. It features a two-storey ashlar front with a pavilion corner block on the left that has tripartite windows, and a slightly advanced double bay on the right. The building is topped with hipped slate roofs and has a bracket cornice. It is five windows wide, with moulded architraves, and includes a cantilevered balcony to the left. There are balustrades over shallow double bays on the right and consoled cornices above the ground floor windows. A Doric porch is situated at the angle of the building, supported by square columns and featuring an open pediment.
