Description
Todhill is a building located on Capelrig Road in Newton Mearns, designed in 1901 by architect John A. Campbell, showcasing Arts and Crafts influence. It features two storeys and a dormered attic, with a rough-cast exterior and stone dressings, and part of the building is half-timbered. The central section has three bays, flanked by two-storey splayed bays and steep gables. To the left, there is a lower extension with oversetting eaves and a studded upper floor. The right side includes a gabled wing with a two-storey splayed bay and curved brackets supporting the timbered gable. The windows are fitted with small-pane glazing.
