Description
This mid-19th century single-storey cottage, possibly designed by Thomas Hannan, was originally two mirrored two-bay cottages. It features squared and snecked stugged ashlar with chamfered arrises around the openings.
On the north (entrance) elevation, there are four bays. The doorway is off-centre to the right and has a consoled slab porch. The former doorway to the left has been altered to a window, while the outer bays contain windows.
The south (garden) elevation has been altered to include two doubled windows. The east gable has two narrow windows, with a small pantry window flanked to the left.
The main elevation has sash and case windows with six-pane glazing, while the rear and east gable end feature four-pane glazing. The cottage is topped with red pantiles.
