Description
3 Redhouse Cottage in Aberlady is a row of three single-storey cottages built between 1830 and 1835. They are located to the east of Redhouse Castle and feature squared and snecked stugged masonry. Each cottage has a doorway with windows on either side and a window at the gable ends, all with cement rendered surrounds. There are lean-to additions at the rear of the cottages. The windows are sash and case style, with some retaining their original lying-pane glazing. The roofs are covered with grey slates, have straight mutual skews, and are topped with coped stacks.
