Description
Drylawhill is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay farmhouse featuring single-storey lean-to additions on the west elevation and at the rear. The exterior is finished with white painted harling and painted margins.
On the southeast elevation, there is a late 19th century gabled porch at the center, with a door that has a strip fanlight above it. Flanking the porch are windows at the ground level, and there are three windows on the first floor.
The west elevation includes a lean-to outbuilding and a greenhouse at the ground level, along with a small window in the attic. The east elevation has a single window at both the ground and first floors, as well as a small attic window.
At the rear, there are lean-to outbuildings featuring a tall painted brick chimney stack and two windows on the first floor. The sash and case windows predominantly have a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates, has straight skews, corniced stacks, and small skylights.
