31-33 Inveresk Village Road, Inveresk

31-33 Inveresk Village Road is a row of cottages, likely built in the early 18th century and recently restored. This single-storey structure has been combined into two irregular cottages. The exterior features white painted harling, with renewed cills and doorways of varying heights.

The southwest elevation facing the road has nine irregular bays, with a mutual gable located approximately at the center. There are two doorways to the left of center, which are flanked by large, later windows. To the right of center, there is another doorway, also flanked by windows, with an additional doorway located at the outer right.

The sash and case windows have a 12-pane glazing pattern, and the roof is covered with red pantiles. The mutual gable and ridge stacks are also harled.
