Description
67 High Street in Dunbar is a mid to later 18th century, three-storey, four-bay symmetrical tenement. The building is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, featuring shops on the ground floor that retain timber pilasters and a continuous dentil cornice below the first floor. There is a central close with an original paned fanlight. The windows have moulded architraves and 12-pane glazing. Above the shops, there are two decorative trade-sign brackets, with a pestle and mortar design to the right. The roof is slate, with end stacks and two modern dormers.
On the north side elevation facing Cossars' Wynd, there are two sash windows on the first and second floors, along with a shop window on the ground floor. Additionally, there is a four-storey block adjoining the rear of the building.
