9 Park View, Easter Pencaitland

8 Park View in Easter Pencaitland is a pair of semi-detached houses, likely designed by W J Walker Todd around 1920. These homes are part of a distinctive group of local authority housing built in the Garden Suburb style along the thoroughfare. They are single storey with an attic and feature harled walls and red tiled roofs.

The south elevation has six bays, with a prominent four-bay M-gable at the center that has a high valley. There are windows on each floor in the central bays, with doorways located under swept eaves on either side, supported by bracketed shelf canopies. The outer bays are recessed and contain single windows, positioned under a higher eaves line that is interrupted by the center bay.

The east and west elevations are asymmetrical, each featuring a projecting stack at the center and tiled offsets, with an attic window above on the south side. The north elevation has six symmetrical bays, with a door located in the central bays and bathroom windows above on the first floor. Regular windows are found in the flanking bays on each floor, and the sash and case windows retain a 12-pane glazing pattern. The buildings also have coped end stacks.
