Description

Later 19th century. Two-storey terrace composed of five houses and a larger pavilioned house at northwest. Squared and snecked rubble with stugged ashlar dressings.

NORTHEAST ELEVATION: 10 paired bays with advanced gabled wide end bays. Bipartites at first floor of gables.

SOUTHWEST ELEVATION: advanced gabled end bay to left, gabled outer bay to right. Projecting piend roofed paired porch bays.

NORTHWEST ELEVATION: three-bay. Gabled porch at centre, entered from northeast side with voussoired arched, sash windows. Blind windows to left bay.

SOUTHEAST ELEVATION: blank.

Four-pane and plate glass sash windows with 12-pane sashes to southwest elevation. Slate roof. Moulded coped ridge stacks. Straight skews.

LIFEBOAT HOUSE/ROCKET APPARATUS HOUSE: later 19th century. Sited to southeast of cottages. Squared snecked rubble with stugged ashlar dressings; grey slates. Gables entrance bay with raised skews and bracketted skewputts.
