Description

New Kilpatrick Parish Church, built in 1807 and enlarged three times over the next 20 years, is a large crowstepped structure with a roughly cruciform plan and interior galleries on three sides. The churchyard features notable monuments, including the mausoleum of the Campbells of Succoth.

Inside, the church boasts an impressive collection of stained glass. This includes the Henderson Memorial window by Stephen Adam and Alf Webster, created around 1912; the Good Samaritan Window by Daniel Cottier, made in 1884 with McCulloch and Gow; and the Crossing the Bar window by J T and C E Stewart. There are also two windows by Robert Anning Bell (in collaboration with Guthrie and Wells), a lancet window by Norman MacLeod MacDougall, three windows by Douglas Strachan, and more modern windows by Gordon Webster and Eildith Keith.
