Description

The bandstand in Peel Park, Kirkintilloch, was built in 1905. It has an octagonal shape and is often referred to as a "birdcage" bandstand. The structure is supported by eight very slim columns that hold up a cupola roof. It features original wrought iron balustrading and a finial.
