Description

The Town Steeple, located at 3 and 5 West High Street in Kirkintilloch, was originally the tolbooth and is now the offices of Thorburn and Paterson, Solicitors. This classical stone building features four stages, a clock, and a spire, and was rebuilt in 1814. The main part of the building is accessed by a forestair, while the upper floors are reached by a tower stair. The courtroom within the building has since been dismantled.
