Description

The Portland Arms Hotel in Galston was built in 1864. It features a ground floor made of rusticated ashlar stone, with a plinth, a band, a low parapet, and a cornice. The building has a pilastered doorway and stands two storeys tall. It includes sash windows, some of which are set in architraves. This corner building has a front that is splayed and partly bowed.
