Description
Dean Bridge in Kilmarnock is an early 19th-century single span bridge that ends in piers. It is constructed from random rubble with ashlar piers.
On the north elevation, the bridge features a single span with ashlar voussoirs and a plain parapet topped with semi-circular caps. The right side terminates in a round pier that has a projecting neck cope and semi-circular caps, while the left pier is missing.
The south elevation also shows a single span with ashlar voussoirs and a plain parapet with semi-circular caps. It has a sloped wing wall that ends in round piers, which similarly have projecting neck cope and semi-circular caps.
