Description
Holme Bridge is an early 19th century single span bridge constructed from coursed dressed rubble with polished ashlar dressings. It features a banded ashlar single wide span arch ring and end channelled ashlar giant pilasters that rise to the parapet. The bridge includes a string course, an ashlar cope on the parapet, and channelled ashlar terminal piers, along with a pronounced splayed approach. The shallow end abutments support an approximate span of 65 feet.
