Description

Piggenhole Bridge is an early 19th-century road bridge constructed of ashlar. It features a single shallow arch supported by an impost band, with splayed approaches leading to the piers. There is a string course at carriageway level, adorned with a cavetto moulding above it. The parapet and coping are gently cambered over the span of the bridge.
