Description

Burnside Cottage is a small lodge-type dwelling originally part of the Sorn Castle estate, dating from around 1820. The cottage features bowed ends and is constructed with random and coursed stonework. Its windows and central door are framed in vermiculated masonry. The high-pitched slate roof has curved ends and is complemented by stacks made of vermiculated coursed stone.
