Description

20, 21, 22 Dock Street in Dundee is a four-storey, four-bay commercial building designed by George Mathewson around 1835. The building features a sandstone ashlar facade with rubble at the rear and a grey slate roof. The ground floor is pilastered and includes a cornice and pediment with crude acroteria details, as well as a wallhead course and a corniced blocking course. The large windows on the ground floor have timber cross astragals, while the upper floors are fitted with two-pane timber sash and case windows. The first-floor windows have architraves, and the second and third floors have margined windows.

The front elevation has three doors and windows on the ground floor and four windows on the upper floors, with the window to the center left altered to serve as a doorway.

The interior has not been seen.
