Description
17 Exchange Street in Dundee is an earlier 19th-century commercial building that stands three stories tall with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is constructed of stugged sandstone coursers with ashlar dressings and has a grey slate roof. It includes timber 12-pane sash windows and an eaves course.
The front elevation has a pend entrance in the center, flanked by three bays with shopfronts that have doors at the center. There is a bipartite window flanked by single windows on the first and second floors. The wallhead gable is pedimented and is flanked by raised ashlar stacks, with box dormers on both the left and right sides.
The interior has not been seen.
