Description

Balmuir Bridge, located on Emmock Road in Dundee, features an inset panel in the parapet that is dated 1757, although it was rebuilt around 1830 to 1840. The bridge has a single segmental arch made with stugged voussoirs and slightly battered approaches. It also has coped parapets and off-centre rainwater heads designed to clear the roadway.
