Description

Earlier/mid 19th century, single storey 3-bay cottage with

attics. Near symmetrical with central pilastered doorpiece

with heraldic crest at blocking course, single window left,

tripartite right, 2 canted and central rectangular dormers.

Painted ashlar plinth rusticated quoins, cornice and square

skew ends with urn finials (missing at left). Ornate

wrought-iron cantilevered overarch lamp bracket to doorway.

Modern timber and glass porch encloses original doorway.

Return elevations coursed rubble. Small cast-iron fountain

in ashlar basin, topped by small putto carrying an urn with

cast-iron basins below. Low garden wall with 3 octagonal

gatepiers, original gates.
