Description
Rose Cottage is a mid-19th century building that was originally two adjoining two-storey houses. It has been converted into a single residence and features a façade with two and three bays. The structure is built from rubble with dressed pink ashlar stone accents. There are two doors, each situated behind a gabled timber porch, and three windows on each floor. The windows are sash style with four-pane glazing, and the upper windows extend beyond the eaves, topped with gabled dormerheads. The building has saw-toothed skews and features end and axial stacks, although the east stack has been removed. The roof is covered with slate.
