Description
Castlehill Cottage is a two-story, three-bay house built in the late 18th or early 19th century, with some alterations. The building has a basement at the rear (west) and to the north. It is constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings, all of which are whitewashed. A brick central porch features prominently. The outer bays have sash windows with four-pane glazing, and the upper windows extend beyond the eaves, topped with dormer heads that have saw-toothed skews. There are end stacks and a slate roof. Additionally, there is a basement door located in the north gable.
